Abstract
Stepper motors are becoming to be very attractive transducers for conversion of an electric signal to a mechanical position. Due to its simple construction the reluctance machine is considered as a very reliable machine which practically not require any maintenance. The present paper proposes a mathematical analytical method of a calculus of a phase current and electromagnetic torque of the motor via complex Fourier series. Saturation effect of the machine is neglected. Speed of the motor is considered to be constant.
