Abstract
In this paper, we present a new f1/f2fλ-invalidation model which provides a realistic representation of the behavior of faulty units for the diagnosis of heterogeneous communication networks with unreliable communication links and a continuum between classical invalidation models in system-level diagnosis theory. A distributed algorithm for the diagnosis of the units in heterogeneous communication networks is proposed
