  • Abstract
Department of Defense MANTECH (manufacturing technology) and REPTECH (repair technology) principles and objectives are stated. Attention is given to the following current MANTECH programs: requirement for cause NDE (nondestructive evaluation), integrated bladed inspection system, in-service inspection system for composites, improved ultrasonic equipment (pulsar/receiver), X-ray computed tomography, and advanced transducer production. The following past MANTECH NDE programs are also discussed: photogrammetry, eddy current disk inspection, capacitance hole probe, automated dimensional inspection, and inspection for cracks under fastners
