Abstract :
Polarimetric SARs promise to be powerful tools for the measurement and investigation of the scattering properties of sea ice. Much of the research done to date is based on a single data set acquired in the western Arctic. This paper describes work done with a 1993 central Arctic data set and presents some results for first-year sea ice
