Abstract :
In this paper, a novel LMS SLC algorithm which is designed for the TDMA digital beam-forming smart antenna system working under strong interferences environment is proposed and analyzed. By means of applying static Compton weight to each antenna unit and delicately adjusting the weight of corresponding unit dynamically, low side-lobe beam is obtained and zero point is formed in the direction of interference so that strong interferences are canceled. This algorithm is suitable for FPGA (field programmable gate array) architectures to achieve high computational efficiency. The FPGA implementation of this novel DBF (digital beam-forming) method for our TDMA Smart Antenna system is also presented.
