Abstract :
Techniques to facilitate the development and implementation of IC device models in enhanced versions of SPICE using user-supplied controlled sources are demonstrated. The use of numerical differentiation in the SPICE branch linearization procedure is extensively explored and a simple means of controlling numerical overflow is suggested
