  • Abstract
    High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) filter capacitor widely used in the high-voltage system, is the key component to high-voltage equipment. Meanwhile, as the important equipment of the DC transmission project, the insulation performance is directly related to the reliability of the entire DC transmission system. as there may be birth defects in the insulation performance of HVDC filter capacitor, and in the running process may be damaged as result of corrosion, vibration or damp, etc., leading to discharge in partial whose signal contains a lot of gradient information of insulation performance, partial discharge is widely used as characterization parameter reflecting insulation internal defects, The paper, aimed at the establishment of DC partial discharge test system for large capacitors to work, from the principle of partial discharge in the basis of DC partial discharge, aimed at analog capacitor of defects of different types to test DC partial discharge to verify the reliability of the system. Finally, collect data from measuring the system and deal with follow-up data, and make up the characteristic parameter map of DC partial discharge of different simulation materials, through map analysis to compare the discharge characteristics of different defects.
