  • Abstract
    With the development of contemporary super scale power system, the method of traditional power flow computing can not meet the requirement in real-time process. This paper uses triangular decomposition parallel algorithms based on the characteristics of power flow calculation, introduces the concept of open systems into parallel computing and avoids deadlock which resulted from the order of matrix that can not be divisible by the number of processors, designs and achieves parallel algorithm combined with the features of P-Q decomposition method based on MPI(message passing interface), verifies the validity of the algorithm on pc-cluster system self-built, analyzing the performance of the algorithm taking IEEE30, IEEE118 and IEEE300 nodes system as examples and gets good results.
