  • Abstract
A new approach to the precise expression of Bi-SAR point target reference spectrum is studied in this paper. The study shows that the two squint angles respectively from transmitter and receiver to the target have a kind of stable relationship during the process of aperture synthesizing, so the azimuth Doppler frequency can be divided into two parts: transmitter azimuth Doppler frequency and receiver azimuth Doppler frequency. The further study proves that the Bi-SAR point target reference spectrum can be expressed as two one-way monostatic SAR point target reference spectrum in series. This study presents another possible approach to effective and precise focusing algorithm for Bi-SAR. Finally, the effectiveness of this new point target reference spectrum is conformed by a computer simulation.
