Abstract
Rotating velocity (RV) estimation is important for inverse synthetic aperture radar image forming and understanding. In this paper, based on the sub-pixel level position extraction of prominent scattering centers on range-Doppler image series, two kinds of RV estimation method are proposed based on the exploitation of line feature and triangle feature formed by the extracted scattering centers, respectively. Key steps for the proposed RV estimation method are also presented. Finally, numeric experiments are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
