Abstract :
With the rapid growth of wireless and mobile communication technology, P2P live streaming application is extending to mobile peer. In order to prevent Message Dropping Attacks (MDAs) in mobile P2P live streaming system, we model the fragments exchanging behavior between neighboring mobile peers under an infinitely repeated two-player game theoretic framework. The Nash Equilibrium is refined based on proportional fairness optimality and an optimal and cheat-proof strategy for preventing MDAs is proposed. The experiment results shows that the strategy proposed can prevent mobile peers from dropping messages and cheating on their private information.
