Abstract :
An analysis is presented of the shielding effectiveness (SE) of a rectangular enclosure with an aperture in one face and thin metal wires aligned nearby inside. Compared with situations without thin metal wires, enhancement of shielding effectiveness by using thin metal wires is found. From the study of the simulation results of lots of specific situations, the strategy to use thin metal wires to improve shielding effectiveness is concluded.
