Abstract :
The effect of the central hole in tubular dielectric waveguides is quantitatively displayed in eigenvalue diagrams for the five lowest modes of propagation. The measurement of the relative dielectric constant for tubular dielectric resonators is described. The tuning mechanism which utilizes a dielectric rod protruding into the tubular TM 01 resonator is analyzed by the finite integrated method
