Abstract
This paper presents a single chip for compact disc players (CDPs) including the digital servo, DSP and 1 bit DAC. In the digital servo (by using the AGC function, and a new jump algorithm and auto adjust) it has eliminated manual adjust points and obtained high reliability, In the DSP part (by using the digital PLL) it needs no adjustable points, and increased the stability and reduced the locking time, and by using the 1 bit DAC it increased the audio performance and resolution for digital volume control. By integrating the three parts in a single chip, it reduced the set PCB area
