Abstract
Previous studies explicitly or implicitly concluded that there were many factors impacting on University Spin-offs´(USO) performance, but there is little empirical evidence for linkages among USOs´ network embeddedness and performance based on entrepreneurial orientations perspective. Did Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) make China USOs´ performance difference after embedding into industrial network? Based on the survey data of China University Spin-offs (USO), the empirical results suggested that the embeddedness at the firm level does significantly affect China university spin-offs´ performance, but it is partly mediated by the sub-dimensions of Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO).Implications for both research and practice are discussed herein.
