  • Abstract
    A simplified implementation method of feed and load in higher order finite element method (FEM) with perfect matching layer (PML) for solving radiation problem is researched By applying a probe model with FEM mesh preprocessing for the feed and load, the difficulties from dealing with the higher order face and volume base functions are overcome and the precision is guaranteed in the meantime. Correctness and efficiency of the proposed method are demonstrated through the numerical experiments for a cavity based patch antenna.
