Abstract :
The 6-channel read/write preamplifier IC supports data rates up to 1 Gb/s. The bandwidth of the reader exceeds 630 MHz. The input-referred noise is <0.6nV//spl radic/Hz. The rise time of the writer is 0.3 ns at 5 mA output current. Impedance matching is employed at all high-frequency in/outputs. This IC uses 0.6 /spl mu/m CBiCMOS technology and occupies 16 mm/sup 2/.
