Abstract
A 1/2-scale partial blanket box structure integrated with the first wall for a fusion experimental reactor was fabricated by using advanced fabrication technologies. The first wall equipped with cooling channels in it was fabricated by HIP (hot isostatic pressing) bonding, one of the advanced diffusion bonding technologies, and the box structure integrated with the first wall was fabricated by EB (electron beam) and TIG (tungsten-arc inert-gas) weldings. The blanket box structure was successfully fabricated, and the present paper summarizes the results of the trial fabrication
