Abstract :
Two IBM-PC compatible MIL-STD-1553 boards are discussed. The BUS-65515 and BUS-65517 boards particular features and capabilities are compared. The special error injection and detection routines, built-in-test, time tagging, and programmable shared RAM differences are highlighted. The electrical and mechanical aspects of these boards are also discussed
