Study on Strategy of ERP Implementation in Small and Medium-Sized Manufacturing Enterprises in Northern Jiangsu Area, China

From research background and current situation at home and abroad,based on an investigation on status of ERP implementation in Small and Medium-sized Manufacturing Enterprises(SMMEs) in Northern Jiangsu Area,China,this paper analyzes successful experience on ERP implementation of SMMEs Who have Succeeded in ERP Implementation,main causes responsible for failure of ERP Implementation of SMMEs Who have Failed in ERP Implementation,and main problems of enterprises who have never started ERP implementation and main reasons for them not using ERP.After that,this paper provides strategies of ERP implementation in SMMEs from 3 aspects(such as project organization,Step-by-step implementation,and sustainable use) in Northern Jiangsu Area,China,in order to provide a useful reference for ERP providers and SMMEs in underdeveloped areas domestic on ERP implementation and application.
