Abstract
Electrical Resistance Tomography (ERT) is used to determine the parameters of two-phase flow. The image reconstruction algorithm is one of the key parts of ERT. In this work, MBFGS algorithm is studied by comparing with other algorithms. MBFGS algorithm and BFGS algorithm reconstruct far higher quality image than SC algorithm. The reconstruction speed of MBFGS algorithm is faster than BFGS algorithm and slower than SC algorithm. Furthermore, the minimum process using MBFGS algorithm rather than the MNR algorithm is faster although the number of iteration is larger. Especially, when the spatial resolution decreases, the increment of cost of time for image reconstruction with MBFGS algorithm is far less than MNR algorithm.
