Abstract
The current distribution on an electrode is simulated under the condition of inhomogeneous media. The finite element method (FEM) is applied to the analysis. After the description of the electrode and its measurement style in the complex media, the procedure of FEM is given. By using this method, two kinds of media are analyzed. With each kind of media, the current distribution on the electrode is computed. The analysis results can be applied to the design of this type of tool.
