Abstract :
The development and the evaluation of an algorithm for a multisensor fusion simulation system is discussed. This VAX-based system is easily adapted to handle a wide spectrum of tactical applications such as those found in ground-to-air and air-to-air scenarios. Simulation results presented focus on a multisensor three-dimensional tracking solution in an air defense scenario. Simulation of sensor integration for both helicopter and fixed-wing targets is reported to result in improved performance in tracking accuracy
