Abstract
A method based on adaptive data processing to compensate clutter spectrum range dependence is proposed in this paper. The method takes of data interpolation theory to interpolate the range heterogeneous short distance data to the range homogeneous far distance data, in order to provide enough number of samples to carry Space Time Adaptive Processing (STAP) on the far distance data. Through computer simulation of two geometry of bistatic radar shows the data adaptive method can decrease the range dependence and the number of the large eigenvalues of the clutter covariance, and improve performance of (GMTI) ground moving target indication for bistatic radar.
