Abstract :
The adaptive L-filters based on the local statistics would improve the detail preserving ability of L-filters. But the parameters of the adaptive L-filters depend on the priori knowledge of the noise. In this letter, we introduce a fuzzy neural network to determine the parameters. Simulation results showed this new method achieved almost the same performance as the adaptive L-filter
