Abstract :
Coherent detection and digital signal processing can effectively recover optical QPSK signals with nearly ideal filtering characteristics. We demonstrate the demodulation of co-polarized 20-Gbit/s QPSK signals with 16-GHz spacing after 200-km transmission.
