Abstract :
The dual stripmap imaging mode for airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is derived from a circular-scanning radar system, which satisfies wide area of imaging scene and high resolution requirements. The working principles, data processing scheme and system parameters design problems resulting from such a novel working mode are analyzed respectively in the text. The point-target simulation and live data implementation results are given to show the validity of the proposed methodology.
