The Opportunities and Challenges Brought by 2014 Guangdong Provincial Sports Meeting to Zhanjiang´s Tourism

This thesis discusses large-scale sports event´s influence on the host place´s tourism benefit from the perspective of the characteristics of sports event´s tourism resources by resorting to methods like literature documentation, expert interviewing and logic analysis. On the basis of deeply analyzing the opportunities and challenges brought by the 2014 Guangdong provincial sports meeting on the host place Zhanjiang´s tourism, the thesis put forward corresponding resolutions in hope of providing new thoughts on fully promoting the comprehensive competitiveness of Zhanjiang city´s tourism and the development of tourism of spots event.
