  • Abstract
    In the process of transmitting the returned signal information to the processors on the ground, a method of compressing and reconstructing ISAR data based on Compressive Sensing (CS) is proposed in this paper. The method is revealed as follows. Firstly, the returned signal is transformed to spectrogram field (fast time-cross range plane). Secondly, the CS technology is utilized to compress spectrogram, and then the compressed spectrogram can be transmitted so that the transmitting data is reduced obviously. Thirdly, the reconstructing method based on the orthogonal matching algorithm is employed to recover the spectrogram information. Simulation results show the reconstructed spectrogram is quite similar to the spectrogram uncompressed, and the fine ISAR image can be reconstructed by using the recovered spectrogram.
