Abstract
Multiple SAR images of the same area from slightly different slant angles show relative spectral shifts, which is used to improve the slant range resolution by combining their spectra. In the paper, an optimization modal, which maximizes the combined image´s amplitude, is proposed to estimate the spectral shift. Simulated data show that the proposed estimation method is more precise than the interferometric method if the two images satisfy the coherence to some extent.
