Abstract :
The configurable cockpit (RCP) is described as a powerful tool for rapid prototyping of control and display systems. It uses high-fidelity graphics to represent multiple-avionic devices. The RCP user manipulates the graphical representation through virtual touch and voice systems. The RCP software utilizes a 2-D graphics editor interfaced to a moderate fidelity, real-word simulation. This simulation supports both the head-down display(s) of the cockpit and the 3-D external world scene
