Abstract :
The scattered field is represented by a series of outgoing Hankel-type cylindrical waves. These waves are transformed into a set of plane waves at each of the four walls of the perfectly conducting cylinder, where field matching [(E&oarr;i+E&oarr;s)×nˆ=0] leads to a matrix equation for the scattered wave amplitudes
