Abstract
An atmospheric correction algorithm yielding surface radiances for entire scenes, Imagecor, is combined with a more precise code, 6S, yielding total downwelling irradiances derived surface reflectances in four test images covering a wide range of aerosol optical depths (0.1-0.8). The results were tested against surface measurements and showed good agreement, generally well within 0.01-0.02 reflectance units
