Abstract :
The need for embedded training to solve the skill degradation problem between school training and operational use of the skill is addressed. Findings of current research programs and operational embedded training systems are discussed along with the types of tasks best taught at school and through embedded training. Recommended policies and procedures for implementing embedded training are suggested
