The Regional Sci-Tech Policy of the EU and Its Inspirations for China

This paper has applied systematic ideology, inductive and deductive methods to analyze the regional science and technology policy of the EU and its inspiration for China. The regional science and technology policy of the EU is closely related to the regional policy of the EU and it has played very important role in solving the regional problems of the economic recession regions in the EU. The successful experience of the EU is very useful for the revitalization of the Chinese industrial structural readjustment regions, such as the North-eastern and Central areas of China, which are similar with the economic recession regions of the EU. With complete legal document, sound policy instrument and scientific capital management, the regional science and technology policy of China can be expected to play a more important role in solving the current regional problems of China.
