Abstract :
Intelligent control, a novel stage of automatic control development, is one of the efficient strategies for the system with nonlinear or imprecise model. This paper has applied fuzzy control (FC) technology to AC electric power steering (EPS) system for seeking better control strategies. Proceeding with fuzzy logic, fuzzy rule and fuzzy inference, a kind of control diagram of EPS based on fuzzy control system has been presented, which can be used to solve the nonlinear or imprecise problems of electrical machine control. The paper has established the foundation for further applications of FC technology in EPS domains. The FC system is verified to be feasible by simulation and experiment.
