Abstract
For a few years, THALES and CNES have been developing new miniaturized OCXO for space applications. These OCXO (called EWOS 513 and EWOS 810) are based on professional components instead of space qualified ones. Because standard space qualification rules cannot be used with such components, a new method has been developed to evaluate their ability to fulfill space missions. The retained method comes from the highly accelerated tests. This paper first describes the highly accelerated tests approach and its application to miniaturized OCXO. Then specifications and typical performance of OCXO are given, under conditions such as thermal vacuum, magnetic field. It ends with last radiation results.
