Abstract :
Surface analysis has revealed the existence of many kinds of contaminations on the surface of screen printed and sintered CdS films. These contaminations are the main cause of restrictions on the performance of the solar cell. Rinsing and etching treatments of the sintered CdS film have been studied for the removal of these contaminations. 17 mV increase on Voc and a 50% of reduction on Jo has been achieved from these treatments
