Abstract
There is co-petition in the technology alliances. The correlation between competition awareness and innovation performance in the process of knowledge transfer within the alliance is studied in the paper. The empirical study collects data from 131 firms located in Liaoning Province area in China, and the hypothesis of the correlation are tested with Structural Equation Modeling. The result shows that the competition awareness of the firm positively and significantly correlates with its innovation performance.
