Abstract :
In this paper, the Modified Berenger PML (MPML) absorbing boundary condition for FD-TD has been extended to the case of an anisotropic medium. The modified MPML equations and impedance matching conditions are presented. Numerical results confirm the validity of this absorbing boundary condition and comparative study shows that MPML is effective and efficient in absorbing evanescent modes in an anisotropic medium
