Abstract :
In the competitive military market, technical specifications are still the dominant criteria when designing components for front end receiver applications. Achieving system specifications that are superior to the competitors can result in component specifications that cannot be met using standard vendor catalog components. This paper discusses the approach used for development of customized low noise amplifiers (LNAs) for such applications, and the system level advantages thereof
