Abstract :
A GaInNAs / InP tensile-strained bulk polarization-insensitive SOA was developed for the first time. It exhibited a red shift of gain peak, 50 nm, resulting in a low gain tilt of 1.5 dB in the wavelength of 1530-1570 nm.
