The management of the US Air Force Logistics Command (AFLC) Fiber Optics Program, a subset of the overall US Air Force Fiber Optics Program, is described. The features and benefits of the fiber-optics technology are outlined. The AFLC program is discussed, and it is shown how it relates to and supports the US Air Force program. A brief summary of AFLCs involvement in US Department of Defense activities is included
