Abstract
We experimentally demonstrate the use of regularization techniques to enhance the resolution of an optical channel monitor based on a broad bandwidth Fabry-Perot filter (FPF). This enables us to measure OSNR to within 0.5 dB on 50 GHz spaced 10 Gb/s channels when using a 35 GHz scanning filter.
