Abstract
High performance direct current (DC) power supply panel (PSP) is a new generation of intelligent DC power source. It can be widely used in many fields which require continuous DC power, such as conventional transformer substations, electric piping systems, power plants and communication systems, especially in self-service electric substations. On the basis of analyzing the current status of DC power equipments, this paper proposes a high performance DC-PSP controlled by three MCUs. The system structure is introduced, and the key techniques of major function modules of the PSP system and the design of the system software are explored and described in detail. The technical parameters of the PSP are also presented. The applications of this DC-PSP shows that it has improved the reliability and automatization of DC power sources, extended the life of storage batteries and reduced the running expenses. The DC-PSP system therefore has higher value of popularization and application.
