  • Abstract
In order to study information technology construction and core competence in China´s coal industry, structural equation model (SEM) is used in this paper. By model theory, research assumptions, model construction, model validation and SEM can effectively reveal the microscopic mechanism of information technology construction and core competence. For illustration, 297 samples were selected from medium-sized independent accounting of state-owned coal mining enterprises, in which 253 valid data were obtained. The empirical results show that the observed ratio of sample size and the number of indicators was about 8:1, which can meet the basic requirements for verification of structural equation. Five Cronbach a coefficient of latent variable minimum value of were 0.867, which meant that survey results had higher reliability. After model updating, the covariance of organizational learning (ξ1) and information technology (ξ2) was 0.56, the minimum of 20 factor loading was 0.55, and the minimum of T value was 2.1.The empirical research results have revealed that there is a certain correlation between China´s coal industries, organizational learning and information technology.
