Abstract :
The authors have developed a wide-view-angle absolute cavity radiometer which can be used under the light of a solar simulator as well as direct sunlight for the comparison between the solar simulator method (based on the ETL spectral irradiance scale) and the global sunlight method (based on the WRR scale) for the calibration of reference solar cells. Simultaneous measurements of direct sunlight were performed by this radiometer and a WRR absolute cavity radiometer PMO-6. Also, the irradiance measured by this radiometer was compared with the integrated irradiance by the spectroradiometer calibrated with ETL irradiance scale under the light of solar simulator. Consequently, the authors found that the irradiance based on the WRR scale measured by the developed radiometer was about 1.0% lower than the integrated irradiance based on the ETL spectral irradiance scale
