Abstract :
This paper describes the principle of the SpectraCube. The instrument consists of an array of independent detector modules. Each module has an optical band pass filter, apertures and a silicon photodiode as detector. During outdoor calibration at the European Solar Test Installation, a commercial spectroradiometer is used to determine the mismatch correction factor but no instrument is available to measure the spectral distribution of the laboratory large area pulsed solar simulators as the duration of the light pulse (2 ms) is by far to short for commercial spectroradiometers
