Research on VMI Coordination Management Model Based on Third-Party Logistics

Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) is a new method of inventory management. The defect of VMI is that responsibilities and interests of the supplier is not unified. This paper remedies defects of VMI by means of building VMI coordination management model based on TPL. This model can improve the cooperation enthusiasm of vendor and retailer to promote the effective implementation of VMI.
