Abstract :
Information revolution and operations with a trend of diversification posing a new challenge to top leaders, they increasingly need to conduct efficient work as a team. Due to the difference in occupational backgrounds, educational levels, and working departments of the members in Top Management Team (TMT), it is difficult to avoid contradictions and conflicts within the team. This paper, using analytic hierarchy process (AHP), investigates factors influencing internal conflicts in TMT by building conceptual models to hierarchically analyze. This paper, based on matrix consistency check, adopts comprehensive assessment to attain combinational weights of the relative importance order of the bottom level to the top level, thus making clear different extents of various factors´ influence on TMT internal conflicts, therefore laying a good foundation for making a solution to TMT internal conflicts.
